#kaddishforlenny
My father, Leonard Seimon, died in 2018, on his 85th birthday. For the year after his death, I observed the ancient Jewish Kaddish ritual every day. I’m an atheist—how DOES an atheist respect an ancient religious ritual and imbue it with personal meaning? I recited the prayer daily, and took a photograph each day when I had finished.
